Before the discovery of the Conflux, the Malleon Empire was, as now, a thriving colonial power. Hailing from an island kingdom, the ancient Malleon sailors ruled the waves of the planet Mor, and one by one subjugated each other civilization and brought them into the fold. Despite many attempts to revolt and break away, the Malleon empire maintained its grip on Mor and eventually brought about a world government that represented companies from every corner of their oceanic world.
