Your goal is to earn the Token of Respect from the mysterious Corner Booth, and amass the greatest stack of Nephelium Chips in the Conflux.

LOOT PHASE

Deftly navigating the Conflux is key to amassing a fortune in ANTEMATTER.

Plot a Course.

Each player gets 3 Burns per round. Burns are used to move your ships around the board. Rocs move 1 Hex per Burn. Ravens move up to 2 Hexes per Burn. Trailblaze and pick up easy money with your Ravens, and land your Roc onto Planets to earn cash and cargo.

Fly through space in style.

Use your Ravens to deploy Bridges and race your Roc from Planet to Planet.

Use the Planets' gravity to slingshot.

Your Roc travels with the Planets as they orbit. On your next turn, slingshot to send your Roc 2 Hexes in 1 Burn.

Poker in ANTEMATTER is built on Texas Hold’em style. Instead of blinds, ANTEMATTER is played with Antes, which go up at regular intervals to raise the stakes and empower your Crew Cards.

Always Have a Card Up Your Sleeve.

Play a Gambit card to add weight to your bet or a Trump card to avoid paying up when your opponents raise. The most powerful cards give you ways to turn your luck around, bluff your opponents into folding, and more.

Beware the Grifters of the Corner Booth.

There are four Grifters in our deck. If you’re dealt one in your pocket, you can expose the Grifter immediately in exchange for a new card or team up with the Grifter to con your opponents.

Working with these notorious outlaws carries a risk: if you’re caught at the showdown with a Grifter in your pocket, you cannot win the hand. You must bluff your opponents into folding, then reveal your Grifter for a bonus payout and bragging rights.

Enigmata, the Deck of Wonders.

If a Grifter is dealt on the Flop, it is replaced by another card, but not without first introducing a little mayhem. Draw from the Deck of Enigmata, objects that can radically alter the results of the hand.

WINNING

To win ANTEMATTER, earn your place among the bosses of the Corner Booth by stacking up the biggest pile of chips in the Conflux.

First, pile up enough chips to earn the Token of Respect from the Corner Booth. Then, you need to pull off one more big score to buy yourself a seat at the table and the big win—if you can hang onto your ill-gotten gains with a target on your back and your opponents conspiring to pry your chips away.
